Here I am, 51 and killing it - boudoir photography edition

I am a 51 year old mom of 3 amazing kids who has worked at Jewel for 35 years.

I’m also a yoga teacher and a loving girlfriend to the best man.

The reason I wanted to do a session was because

I WANTED TO SEE

MYSELF

AS OTHERS SEE ME.

It’s difficult to accept compliments because sometimes I just think people are just being nice.

I’ve had multiple surgeries on my hips and wanted to show myself and others that

PRETTY COMES IN SCARRED PACKAGES AS WELL.

Molly is a wizard with that camera and her artistry is awesome.

I FUCKING LOOK SO PRETTY!

I even had a mini meltdown in my car after my reveal, because I was so overwhelmed with my pics.

I just celebrated a milestone 10 year anniversary with my man.

HE THINKS I’M HOT AND NOW I DO TOO, HAHA.

I CAN’T WAIT TO SHOW HIM THE PHOTOS.

Like many others, leading up to my session I was so nervous and freaked out, but excited at the same time.

However, I was

WAAAAAY MORE NERVOUS

for my reveal because of my negative body image for myself.

Molly is real and encouraging.

She gave me options and her instructions were so clear.

When she showed me a shot that she just took on that little camera screen and I was like,

OMG IS THAT ME?....

I can do this and I am doing this!

EVEN DAYS AFTER MY SESSION, I FELT LIKE A BADASS.

HERE I AM, 51 AND KILLING IT.

I just wanted at least 1 or 2 pics to turn out. And I loved a lot more than that!

My confidence has grown that’s for sure. I loved this experience.
